Gas War

In the late 50's in my home town of Longview Texas i saw gas sell for 7 
cents  a gallon. There was a a gas station on Hy.80 called Rose Gas Co. 
  Their motto was , and printed on the billboard was,  Right with Rose, 
Sleep with Ethyl, Get it Regular.  Ethyl was what we called super. The 
price of gas did not matter to me then - the name on my wheels was 
Schwinn.
