Without me my cars would be stationary objects.
Here at home I've suggested at times in the past that we sell the
Spitfire. Sharon has steadfastly vetoed the idea. It has become a
member of the family.

Decades ago as my 1969 Fiat 124 Spider was wearing out I picked up a
1966 Porsche 912. My strong impression was that though the Porsche
was faster, quieter, and less tiring to drive a great distance on a
hot day, the Fiat was far more interesting, more fun. Given the
choice of the two, the general condition of them being equal, I would
have opted for the Fiat. My Triumphs reside on the Fiat side of that
fence. My Caravan resides on the Porsche side, faster, A-C'ed,
quieter, able to leap tall buildings with, ah no, make that able to
carry lots of music gear and four people. Boring as a trip to the
grocery store.
