Good friend of mine told me many years ago what "Audi" meant ... it's German for
"Lemon".
Didn't keep me from buying one, but it made my Triumph Stag look like a marvel
of reliability engineering !!!
I think my favorite experience with it is when the shifter went into the gate
for 3rd gear, but the transmission went into 1st. Yup, it was an interference
engine, and all 8 valves got overly intimate with the pistons <g>
