I do remember the stripe...and white snaps...and thinking WOW, THIS IS COOL!
Unfortunately, I cannot tell you the year, but I imagine it was probably
around 1971 or 1972 (when I spent a lot of time hanging around the local dealer
and occasionally buying parts)!
