 Two things determine how a spring behaves; the spring rate and the free le=
ngth.=C2=A0 When swapping in a longer and stiffer spring will give you more=
 movement initially and less change as the speed increases.
So, yes, a longer spring will give you more initial advance at idle but max=
 advance would be achieved at a higher speed.
But the answer is: It depends.=C2=A0 How do the two springs compare in both=
 length and spring rate.
