It is true that the hydro lifters and floating rocker arm design of the SR20 
motors is sort of a design "flaw"... but they don't really limit power 
production... what they do do is sometimes pop out when the motor is revved 
over 8200rpm and break things! :)
There are cures in the form of "guides" that bolt in and hold the arms down.. 
these can be had for under 200 bucks. Upgrade the valve spring and retainers 
also, and the SR20s can rev forever...almost
