    Let's not forget the KISS principle. Keep it simple. The more 
"monkey-motion" we have in a car, the greater the incidence of failures. 
    Remember, things electrical don't like the salt flats, and "G" force or 
impact- activated devices won't like the rough courses and accelleration / 
decelleration forces we experience.
    I feel that the "cut-off-switch" rule is pretty well written now. If we 
try to "iron-clad" the rule with too many specifics we'll defeat our purpose 
of safety and handcuff the Tech guys when they see something that meets the 
"letter-of-the-law" but is not mechanically workable or
