I'm thinking of running a total loss battery system on my car. One big battery
to run the ignition, fuel pump and water pump, and a second battery to start it
- no alternator. I'm not running electronic anything, just coil and points. I
can charge the batteries in the pit. Are any of you car guys running total
loss systems?
