better go open some hoods at your next drag race.. You might be the only guy
with one other than some guy with a holley 750, mechanical fuel pump, accel dual
point distributor and a battery charger.. If they want some sparks either they
have a good spark box and an alternator or a mag if it is a TF or TA car. As far
as some of the old bike ignitions i would bet my zippo has more spark than they
do or if it is real good maybe my weed wacker at worst case.. Think real hard
about the phrase 'total loss' for a
minute............................................................ ok can you
hear me now? LOL how much spark do you think you have at 11 volts?? As the
voltage goes down in a 'totally lost' system the amps have to go up discharging
the battery faster. Real bad juju with this deal.. When we run an engine on the
dyno that does not have an alternator I can make more power with the battery
charger on rather than off...
