Ok, so I am the young guy in all this discussion about kids. I personally
have never raced on the street, didnt want to get caught, never even
watched the other guys do it. Our town has street legal drags as I believe
Tom has said. (Our town being Redding) Ive been to those a few times, and
theres a huge turnout. My car sucked it up, but, i built the engine for
$160 so its not a screamer. My dad also taught me to drive. From the time
we were old enough to sit in the passenger seat he was giving us tips, he
taught us how to use the shifter with our left hand. We would go out to the
dirt roads when we were hunting or camping and he would let me drive. And
when I got my first car, it was a car that was left at our shop and that I
had to rebuild the engine on, an '81 chevy-luv. I had that car until I
started driving my brothers chevelle because my knees were hitting the dash
in the luv. Like someone said earlier in this discussion, there are good
examples of kids still, but I agree that the majority are bad apples, I dont
like my generation personally...
