(Relative) new guy perspective:

My experience comes only from the USFRA group - folks are always ready
to answer a question, always friendly, willing to let us help unload a
'liner AND treat us like friends. In fact, it was the general
atmosphere and attitude at WOS that helped suck me into this venue. I
doubt the SCTA crowd is much different.

As far as the list goes: more of the same, lots of help whenever I ask
and plenty of tolerance for the beginner. Where else can you ask a
simple question and get a page or so of explanation and images to
illustrate? I only hope that I can be a good friend to all those who
help me, or maybe help them someday.

There is, of course, the exception to the rule. But I even appreciate
this holier-than-thou wanker because he helps define all the other fine
folks. The Wanker also reminded me that my subtle humor doesn't work
well in e-mail, and that sometimes folks will never get along.

Lastly, everyone is welcome in my pit - until you prove otherwise.
Doesn't matter how you wear your hair, where your parents come from,
where you go to church or what you drive, stop by and say hello.

Keep the rubber side down, smile when someone accidently says the wrong
thing about your pride and joy, take a kid to a car show.

Thanks to all for the kindness!

David in Durango
