Ray, I'd be concerned about the extra weight on the hardtop. The mounting hardware for the top is what worries me. Added stress against the front windshield and those two hooks where the top mounts on the rear deck is something I wouldn't do. For two seasons now, when I have taken my hardtop off, one or the other of the rear deck mounts has snapped. That piece is pot metal and not too strong. Jut my humble opinion, Dave Houser |
