Rich,

You're right about the number under the seat being hard to read.  Mine is 
completely worn away (although I know the number to be B658).
Maybe I can bring it out by etching it with acid, but in the meantime I'm 
curious about this wheel well number you mentioned.

Is it in the front or rear wheel well?  Both wells are rather cruddy on my '62 
due to numerous years of exposure.  Is there a specific area I should be 
excavating?
