Sounds like a deal! Best of luck with it.

Regarding the weber as a cause of sluggishness, I'm told it's easy to
over-carb a 948, but fortunately I never had any problems with my old
1500 Spit with a Weber DGV.  It was a big improvement for me over the
stock ZS. I did have a little trouble with fuel pressure - the Weber
needed like 3 - 5 psi and the aftermarket fuel pump the car had put out
10+. A cheap Purolater dial-in regulator did the trick. Until the
regulator went in, the carb was flooding on throttle tip-in (we named
the car the Spitfarter because of initial puffs of stuff sputtering out
the exhaust). At first I thought maybe the accelerator pump was bad, but
the regulator did the trick.
