First Mark...congrats and best of luck on your adventure. I think others on
the list are better suited to provide the practical advice and from what I have
read, you are getting a lot of the good variety. I would add that I think it
would be a good idea to bring along a journal. There are times when it is
beneficial to be able to refer back to what you have done, experienced, etc.
Dont trust your memory to help you recall all of the details that are
important.(ask me how I know) I keep track of all the maintenance, repairs and
fueling that I do to help me remember and diagnose future problems. Besides,
since I doubt you will have a satellite internet connection to keep us
informed, we will want details of your adventure. Best of luck, and should you
decide to take the long route to Hawaii, stop in and say hello...
