Was at an autocross with the defunct Penn State Sports Car Club back when
the center of the earth was still molten. A VW Type 3 wagon made the last
turn, went two up drivers down. The driver let off the gas and idled over
the finish and off into the pit area before the car thumped down on all
four. No damage and a complete run. By the way, that run won him the
season championship.
