You'll still see limiting straps and such under baja VW's.  It works well 
enough, but it grinds on the axles themselves, which isn't good for them.  It's 
also a very harsh action.  VW's still use a camber compensator of this type 
that's nothing more the a cross leaf with bumpers on the ends.  Again, it 
works, but it's rough and crude.  

A very nice thing about Kas' camber compensator is that you can play suspension 
tuning games with one, as it is constantly involved with the suspension.  The 
choice of end links on the market makes many things possible with it.

Well now, from someone working in the stupid idea dept., 
how about a short length of cable to just limit droop?
