   No apologies needed. At least you're being vocal and trying to pass
the word about this bullsh*t.  But don't stop there. Bring this to the attention
of
the typical vehicle owner. Talk about it a work, with other neighbors etc....
This is an invasion of privacy  plain and simple. If you and others 'tolerate
it',
what's next, police entering your home to check that guns are being kept in
a safe (and oh, by the way, expect them to ask "what type of guns do you own
sir,
are they registered"......) ? When is enough enough? Demand that this type of
'inspection' be stopped. Get people together and petition. If that doesn't work,

petition somemore etc...

Of the soapbox now...

Other than that, I have no strong feelings on the subject ;-)
