George, I added the same exact parts as well as electronic ignition, in 10
years I have been stranded twice, my very first trip after frame-off to
Albany, N.Y. for VTR, after a 600 mile drive I lost the water pump pulley as
I pulled into the host hotel parking lot, and then last month 750 miles to
VTR S.E., I lost a u-joint (@ over 90mph), this was driver abush, not the
car. I have very strong opinions about these cars and the remarks made about
them, most failures are owner related and not auto related, preventive
maintence goes a long way. My last thought is, we all know old classic
Ford/Chevy etc, they never break-down do they, yea sure, ask the owners how
much time they spend on maintenance. "FT"
