Don't tell your wife this, but consider what is going to happen in any
real accident in a TR3.  I've seen (and bought) several wrecked cars,
all were either minor enough (IMO) that shoulder belts would not have
helped, or involved passenger compartment incursions that a lap/shoulder
belt would only tend to make worse.  The last wreck I bought, apparently
the trans locked up (due to lack of fluif) and the car caught a pole
with the right front fender.  The frame only accordioned about 6", but
the passenger floor nearly met the dash.

My decision : no belts until I get a 6 or 8 point roll cage.
