> TR4's don't have washers, Maybe not, but they're listed in the Moss UK catalog ! Page 2, item 70, P/N 134234, washer, packing, TR4/4A, as required. According to Piggott, the cranking handle was still an optional accessory for the TR4. These shims would have been used to align the crank dog with the opening in the radiator (as they were on the TR3), which coincidentally moves the engine high enough to change the fan belt. Randall |
