After several months of correspondence and several phone calls I finally met
Wayne face-to-face recently, when I bought some parts from him. We live
just a few miles apart. From what I saw of his car, the 302 fits
surprisingly well in the engine compartment of the 3A (although the
conversion is not complete). Wayne had to substantially modify the firewall
and fabricate engine mounts etc, but the engine looks "real purty" sitting
there. And, the Panasports look really nice...
