Back in the late 70's a friend performed a 283/Powerglide conversion on his
TR3 and used it to embarrass the big Healeys (and a 'Vette or two).
Has anybody used the Chevy 4.3L V-6? The turbo 4 from a P/T Cruiser? Anything
mildly exotic? I have one incomplete TR3 I'm planning on doing something
different with and am collecting ideas. At the moment, I'm leaning toward a
TR3S-inspired, TR6-framed car. I don't have Sabrina handy, but something
similarly exotic (Jag V-12) would be interesting. I have several projects
already in line, so I have time to mull it over.
