I don't know.  We didn't find one, but it certainly could
have escaped.  The shop adjusted the bearing, but I don't
know if they took off the nut to check on the D-washer.

Dunno.  Didn't recover it.

I think so.   Maybe.  I don't remember.  We recovered the
nut itself.

The rollers and races were pretty-much scattered to the
winds.
 
There was considerable bluing on the spindle.  It has been
replaced by one from Joe Alexander.
