- Drove my car for the first time today with the 3 carb good setup & rebuilt engine, runs good. when you let off the gas it comes back to idle too slowly though. i think the linkage returns quick enoug

- sitting still and revved it, was over 6000 in a Not to tell one what to do, but 6000 rpms on a new motor can be hard on it. Quickly letting off from full throttle with no resistance puts much stress

- This is essentially the PI cam, but with the lobe centers further apart so it should idle considerably better and get better fuel economy. If I did the math correctly, your lobe centers are at 110 d

- Mostly carb selection. I'd go with SU's , not that ZS's are bad but there's basically no needle selection. I'd also run less spring pressure on the cam , thereby extending cam life . I'm running a c

- I run one plug range colder. I had Monzas too, I hated the sound. I got Ansa's and hoped they'd be a bit quieter, but not so. They're louder but have a nicer note to them . I like the sound so much

- Unfortunately I don't know the spring rate or pressures for stock springs. I know when I was doing my engine setup the stock springs wouldn't work due to either spring bind or pressure I can't remem
