As many of you know, I am overhauling my gearbox at the present time. I have found several worn parts, and I am currently waiting for replacements to arrive. While I am waiting, I am contemplating m

I had a broken pin in m street driven TR6. There is a hardened pin in there now, and it seems to be holding up okay. This was done before I knew of the modification. I have the modification in my vin

I had a stock pin break while driving... it does make it a little more difficult to get home. The real kicker is three weeks prior my throw out bearing had failed, the TR6 was my only transport at th

Vance--My original pin was in there for 27 years before I was convinced to change it. The new, replacement broke within two months. Guess what pin is back in there now?! But... It has an accomplice.

This clutch pin issue is one of the more "popular" problems which plagues the TR6. It gets a lot of discussion. It seems there are many fixes to the "problem", the additional 1/4" bolt being perhaps

I agree with Brian's assessment, but be prepared to spend a little extra time and patience assembling the unit with the straight pin. My best guess is that Triumph used the taper pin to speed up ass
