I'm thinking about another STS project. 205/50-15 seems to be the size of choice, in either Azenis or Kumho. I'm wondering if anyone has tried 225/45-16s on a ~2500 lb car, and if there are other tir

There are multiple problems with your proposal. Firstly, that size isn't available in all brands. But more importantly, cars that could or would use a 205/50-15 tire might suffer too great of a geari

Maybe there should be a rule change for ST classes to require all season min treadwear 400 tires. Then AWD would really dominate. Dick (who knows that you understand even if many of the "street tire"

[SNIP] I agree with what you said on the 712. I run it in STS and it's a great tire for the regional level at least. The SP8000 is a bit stickier, but it's sidewalls are very soft and it rolls over
