I disagree with the comments that synthetic oil finds the cracks on old British Sports Cars. I have enjoyed great success with Amsoil 20/50 and I have a few friends that are using this product as wel

I see there seems to be some discussion about the merits of synthetic oil. My biggest problem with it is that because of its durability, people tend to leave it in longer (isn't that the reason to sp

Hi listers. I just wanted to pass on my little synthetic oil experience. Oelvis (1971 TR6) leaks a bit, as most LBC's, but I wanted the extra protection of synthetic. My hope was that the engine woul

What is the general consensus on using synthetic oil like Mobile 1 in and old engine. I know on a new engine it works fine, but is there any reason not to use it on an engine with 40-50K miles on it?
