TRA has a policy in concours that if it is a safety issue they won't dock any concours points for this. Many do not have (or have removed) the petrol stop-cock because they consider it a safety issue

The original cork seal will wear and shrink over time, will leak fuel if you don't keep it adjusted. I replaced the seal in mine with a short length of modern nitrile fuel line, it's only had to be a

As for the stop cock I installed a brass marine fuel ball valve, look really cool. 90deg turn and the fuel is cut off. And right by the gas tank, under the car, there is a shutoff valve leading into

I agree on the need for fuel line clamps but if you are going to use them then use the wire tie type to match what should be on the water hoses. IMO worm type clamps look tacky on our cars. Moss has

Alternately, the little wire loop clamps available at Ace Hardware (in one of those nut & bolt drawers) look good to me and work fine if you get ones that are small enough to really squeeze the line.

The "List" comes to the rescue again. Thanks to FT and Randall I found the anchor point for the accelerator return spring (it had been bent flush to the firewall making it almost indistinguishable).
