Ok, OK,
What *was* going around? I wouldn't have missed this event for anything,
for any number of reasons, the most important of which is friendship. But
the irony of Ian's having missed the event is really sad. As a racer I'd
looked forward to both Eric and Don Sesslar's attendance, but I never
thought most of us would be laid low. I was so sick (for three days) just
before the event, that I was advised not to travel, and particularly not by
plane. Bother.
But just as Eric intimated, my setback was *nothing* compared to Ian's!
I, too, hope you're back on your feet in very short order. To my other
friends: I'm very sad not to have been able to share all this with you. Can
we go for a second round next year? with *all healthy,* please?
