I drive in a drummer's shoe called "Kickers", made by Vic Firth. They cost less than $30.00, made of very breathable nylon mesh with a thin sole comparable to that of a dance shoe but with a little more texture and "grip". I'll take them any day over those confining leather hi-tops the elite hot rod crowd wears. Leather driving shoes have a necessary place in racing but it aint on an autocross course. You don't wear Nomex undies either do you? Jon FP 73 |
