Why assume that the Type R would be the car to have instead of the Neon?
The only place Daddio was slower than a Type R last year was the Wendover
Pro. I was at that event, and the course was a foot-to-the-floor drag race to
the far end, as far removed as possible from a Nationals Solo II course. No
question that a Type R in the hands of a good driver could maintain that
opening advantage through the rest of the course. I would think that the
Type R contingent would be concerned as to whether Daddio will show up
at Topeka in 2001 in an ACR.
