According to my local Legends racer and my memory from this spring, the
tires are now specifically molded with Legends markings of some sort. They
are still the same basic tire noted above.

See http://www.600racing.com/ for general info on Legends cars.

Note that I believe that the famous Road Racer Elliot Forbes-Robinson was
heavily involved in the design of these cars. They are mostly run on small
ovals but they also have a national road racing series.

I watched them race in the wet at the new (reopened) Virginia International
Raceway this spring. There were cars all the way from Oklahoma. The local
North Carolina guy went out to Sears Point last year.

I drove one at a demo school this spring on a small banked oval. You would
not believe how much "faster" than the tires, even just using top gear with
a slipping clutch, these cars can be. Makes one REALLY appreciate slicks
and a low center of gravity.

In local North Carolina and Southern Virginia events, Elliot and his son (I
think) have been known to show up with slicks on a Legends car which they
ran in B Mod. Not as fast as a FF but a blast to watch!

At the Peru National Tour, A Baby Grand ran in EP. These are VERY different
cars from Legends!
