I ran in the PAX class, where no one else even runs, to help the other BSers

I felt that the PAX Class was for those who wanted to compare themselves with
others in different classes by running at the same time with an index. Josh
had no other C/Mod competition, but wanted to compare his times to Michael
Butler, Jeff Reitmeir, etc. Later, it was also a way for the top C/S cars to
run together, and allow the "very fun but not competitive with the MR-2"
RX-7s a place to compete with each other for a trophy.
<< I'll either run in B Stock next year, or in the AAS or Sac Cup events next
year. My goals are to do well at the Solo II National Championships next
year. Unfortunately, if that's your goal in SFR, you appear to be kind of a
bad guy. >>
I've seen some of that, too. I wish we could all focus on improving our
skills, and let the trophies fall where they may.

And I do care about trophies. I like having something at the end to shoot
for. It's a good feeling at the end of the year, to know that you at least

I agree. How do we get the competitors to see this?
