Sounds like the Ford Anglia.
Of the old English Fords, this one is very desirable! They actually
have suprisingly good performance. It was one of Britain's "American"
style Fords. Little eyelids over the headlights and moderate little
tailfins over the rear lights. Cute little car! Me 6' 6" (plus) cousin
had one years ago ... but I've told that story here before...
