I?ve been waiting to thank all those that responded to my initial question
until the topic died down but in the interim I?ve bought a set of 89?s from
BPNW and I will set them up the same way I?ve always done it with 87?s, which
is the way Kas lined out in the comp manual. I was hoping to hear that the
silly MM was enough to avoid the need and gain a little more gasket surface on
the liner, but what worked on The 87?s will work on the 89?s. I don?t expect to
gain much as I expect they will be heavier than what I?ve been using, but they
cost a bunch less. In time I?ll know. So thanks for the answers and lively
discussion!
