The number plate on top of the OD starts out with a 28 or a 22. That
indicates its output drive ratio. That works for all except the 32 ratio in
the early BN1s. I guess at that point they didn't anticipate changing
ratios.
Originally I thought I might like to install a 32 with the 3.54s, but now
I'm thinking it might be more advantageous to install the 22 because, while
it might lower the top end a little bit (Yeah I really need to be driving
this thing at 125 MPH!) it will give a more useful split between 2nd OD and
3rd normal. With the 28 ratio I'm currently running they are almost
identical. The 32 would bring them even closer.
