I'm sure I could construct a statement that talked
about environmental issues and had the word "strangulation"
in there as well. I'll strangle my engine before I
strangle my kids, thanks.

Don't be scared by emissions gear. Removing a manifold and
replacing a new one with a gasket and so on is more work than
I have ever sunk into maintaining an emissions piece.

  Yah, 62.5hp DIN.

The difference exists, but it's not as big as you might
think after unit conversion.

Besides, horsepower is hardly the reason anybody drives a
british car. If you REALLY want to make such a big deal to
get your hp rating up to a whopping 95, you really should
be driving some other car.
