  The B engine is pretty reliable really. Well, frankly
it's not like american engines are generally world leaders
in the category either, so let's say that the swap isn't
likely to be a serious boost in reliability.

  As for easier parts availability... hmmm... well, you can't
buy a piston at the corner store you have to mail order it. But
how often do you really find yourself requiring an engine
internal part?

  I find myself struggling a bit because an engine swap is
a neat project if that's what you want, but you seem to say
you want to do it for other reasons and those reasons don't
really seem to make sense to me.
