Re: Oil Leaks - Rear Main Seal/Tappet Covers

Solved the tappet cover leaks by putting the seals on the bolts. I guess
that is what those black things are. I probably wrote erroneously about the
"rear main seal". It is not leaking from the rear engine seal but the cork
filler below the rear main cap, between the cap and oil pan. I am probably
going to have to pull at least the most rearward pan bolts and see if I can
get a new seal with more rtv in there.
