But we still haven't dealt with the odometer...  Changing the face doesn't
change the odometer.  Also, the physical presence of the odometer rules out
rotating the face to put 60 mph at 12 o'clock.

And I note that both my o/d 73GT and my non-o/d 73B have the same 1280
speedos.  The '76 with o/d has a 1000 speedo.  Also, in any year B you can
eliminate the angle drive with a longer cable - the angle drive doesn't
change anything except your bank balance.  John Twist/Carolyn Robinson did
a big speedo survey a few years ago - anybody recall what they concluded
about this?
