I run the same Castrol 20/50 in my overdrive that I run in my engine. 
I know John Twist does the same. I would guess that Lawrie does also, 
but he can confirm or deny that. A new box is going to be a bit 
stiffer for a time. Run it in and should loosen up a bit.  It took 
mine about 5000 miles to really get nice.
