The Cadillac Catara (nee Opel Vectra) uses two electric water pumps in 
addition to the engine driven pump.  You might have a look at one as see if 
it could be incorporated.  Just  a thought.  
I just returned from your back yard (Anderson SC) last night with a 4/4 to 
play with.
