I have used dipping and walnut blasting and have had wonderful results from
both. Depending on how far you want to go should be the deciding factor. If
you are doing a ground up complete disassembly then go with the dipper. I
use Redi Strip in Evansville, Indiana (Dan Payne). They use an alkali
solution rather than an acid. It won't come back and haunt you like acid
dipping does. No seeping seams!.

If you are just doing a repaint but want to strip use walnut blasting. Tape
all of your open seams with duct tape. You don't even have to remove chrome
or glass. Same day service and you can drive it home. (If you drove it
there!).

Both of these cost around $400 for a Mustang or Sunbeam.
