Upon closer examination of my dash, I think Ed is entirely correct. The
material covering the dash is not vinyl, but some sort of thin molded-on
plastic, with no clips. It's chipping off a little around the glove box,
but otherwise it's on there pretty good. Does anyone have a late TR3-A with
an original dash that can verify the covering material? This plastic is
grained like vinyl, looks like vinyl on the surface, but if you look closely
at the edges of the dash, it's apparent it is much thinner than vinyl.
thanks, Dennis

Didn't the later TR3's have a molded covering, not requiring the metal
clips? Don't know how you'd remove it since it wasn't glued on.
