Seems like a great price to me, so I'm going to roll it out some
weekend very soon and check it for straightness, then probably cart
it off.

But, for those who have been there done that, is there anything I
should beware of? I'm a little concerned about sand getting inside
the box sections -- do I need to worry? How to prevent it? And
should I try taping off the front suspension pivots, so that the
metal surface isn't damaged?

That's a great price. I paid $75 here in St. Louis.

Yes it will fill up with sand. They will shake out most of it since they
can reuse it but it will bleed little bits of sand for months. If that
bothers you try blowing it out with compressed air. Tip it this way and
that. Or fill the frame with Waxoyl.

Don't worry about the pivots as they are just rubber bushes anyway. After
all the painting and everything buy some taps and clean out all the tapped
holes.
