Hi Dave:

You mean your wife tried to do it herself? I'm amazed. If given no other choice 
except to make a leather Triumph part, my wife would just head off to Holt's or 
Neimann Marcus and abuse them until they cut a strip off the bottom of a 
leather coat and put it in a nice box.

Well, yeah, but, you're married to an angel, remember?  Those of us with real 
world wives couldn't get away with that.

My wife made door panels for the TR6 once.  Once.
