Mostly the hot air coming off of the radiator.  All that air passes under the 
car and down the cavity for the transmission. Therefore it is in intimate 
contact with the floorboards and the trans cover.  Conduction will carry the 
heat 
to the inner surfaces and any air leaks will let the hot air in directly.  
Add to that the hard top that keeps the warm air inside the car and you have a 
good design for an oven. 

This is the case for all cars.  Modern cars have a good, thorough insulation 
system to keep the heat out.

Do what Joe said and insulate.
