My ideas are pure unadulterated guesswork. I do know that even though
exhaust is composed of hot expanding gas it still is pumped from the
cylinder, which requires HP to accomplish. So, to my mind, pumping it into
200 or 300 MPH air wall has got to take a bunch of HP.
