1st Gen Integra (and I'm selling mine to go into CM)
Good power to weight, handles well.

Honda Civic S

Mazda Protege 1.8
According to the car rags, this is an update of the previous (ES) model.
They made the body a little stiffer and lighter.

Paseo

Sentra 1.6 and NX1600

Some cars that I would try out if I had unlimited funds:
(of course, if I had unlimited funds, why would I drive HS?)

88-89 Accord LX-i (125 HP, 2600lb, and it's a Honda)

Nissan Stanza SE (last year of production 140 HP, limited slip, 2800#, 6"
Rims)

Toyota Corolla 1.8 (same drivetrain as the Celica)

Audi 90 V6 Quattro (took one that had Kumhos but nothing else on some fun
runs and was able to get close to my Integra times)

Hyundai Accent GT (When you're done laughning, realize that it had 105 HP
and weighed 1900lb, lasting an entire season, of course, might be a
challenge)

27 CM
was 29 HS, 87 Integra
